Ikee Rikako and Seto Daiya lead a party of 27 named to Japan's swimming crew for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games* on Wednesday (27 Walk).

Ikee and Seto, who each got a standard for their third Olympic Games through the preliminaries last week at Tokyo Aquatics Center, will address a group contained 14 men and 13 ladies hoping to reestablish Japan's pride in the pool this mid year.

"We have an exceptionally adjusted gathering of veterans and the youthful and those some place in the center," said Japan Swimming Organization President Daichi Suzuki, the Seoul 1988 gold medallist in the 100m backstroke.

"I need to see them step up in the following four months and expect that they will show their will to battle in Paris.

"I'm glad for the competitors we have here. I want to believe that they will bring our banner up in Paris."
